Acknowledgements

One of the other major duties of a Justice of the Peace is that of taking acknowledgements in the same manner as a Notary Public .

So what else does a Justice of the Peace do you might ask? He or she is authorized to administer certain oaths of office, witnessing documents, taking depositions, and calling meeting of corporations, fire districts, proprietors of private ways, bridges, wharves and real estate lying in common, certain religious societies and a town meeting upon the resignation of a town selectman by issuing a warrant.

Baby Naming Ceremonies

Baby Naming CeremoniesA Baby Naming Ceremony welcomes the child into the family and community at large. For families who are not churchgoers and do not want a baptism or christening, but do want to celebrate the arrival of a new baby, a Baby Naming Ceremony is a possible alternative. The Ceremony offers a sense of tradition, of ritual, commitment and of offering vows and assurance towards the care for baby.

Funeral Celebrant

Perhaps the most intimate and touching of all ceremonies I offer. This ceremony provides an outlet for both grieving and celebrating the deceased's life. A funeral ceremony will speak when words fail us. I will meet with the family, listen to your stories and work with you to create a unique, personalized ceremony.
